Nerd Olympics 2017 – Disc Golf

The second event of the Nerd Olympics took place after we were unfortunately rained out. Our corgi puppy caddy was not pleased with the rain, but we were equally not pleased with her inability to properly fetch the discs back for us.

Our, arguably best dressed team of 4, took off across Lakewood Park competing alongside Pareto Business Group. Our caddy was no help at all. Not only did she NOT return the discs to us, she had to be sent off the field despite her sincere efforts in attempting to clear the greenways from goose poop.

After 9 holes with a number of par shots we thought we had a pretty good score and a decent shot at the podium. However, our 142 strokes were only enough to net us 7th place! We were 12 strokes behind the 1st place finishers Radix!

Our caddy’s lackluster performance also wasn’t enough to net us even a spirit point! A disappointing event for sure but a great group activity to for days and evenings at Lakewood Park (and FREE!).

Thanks to Lakewood Park and WETech for hosting the event! We will regroup and come back strong for the next challenge!
